Appalled-apalooza: HRC/SU announce anti-bias summer tour

A proactive DADT approach from HRC/Servicemembers United:

Next week the Human Rights Campaign will launch a national tour to encourage repeal of the failed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy in conjunction with Servicemembers United. The kick off event will be a National Press Club Newsmakers press conference this coming Wednesday, July 8th at 10 a.m. in the Zenger Room, 13th floor, National Press Building, 529 14th St., N.W.

U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-PA), a veteran of the Iraq war, will attend along with gay, lesbian and straight veterans

Makes sense. Summer tours are known for their costly service charges.

Your thoughts

Gee, you think HRC finally got some of the message that they better stop just taking their six figure incomes to the bank and DO SOMETHING!
PS. Will they ever get the message RADIO is passé?

I saw this headline in our local paper today:
Murphy: Policy Must Go
The article goes on to report that the primary sponsor of the bill,Ellen Tauscher of CA has resigned to take up an undersecretary of state position moving Murphy to leading the charge.

I am proud to say that I am represented by Congressman Murphy.
