200907290959If you donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Prop 8 alone, are known for bankrolling just about any anti-gay fight that comes in the pipe, and have had to layoff staff because of your expenditures, it might be just a weensy bit hypocritical for you to make political hay out of the pro-equality side's own financial efforts:

Gay marriage groups laid down a lot of money in Vermont to achieve the legislative vote that redefined marriage in that state.
Big money is often central when marriage is redefined

We don't want to spend this money. However, if you are going to put time, effort, and resources towards roadblock construction, you have given us no choice but to build some principled battering rams!
