Do mo' for DOMA: Nadler steps up to the repeal plate

DOMAAs promised, U.S. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) has introduced his DOMA repeal bill (with 91 cosponsors and a kick-ass "Respect for Marriage Act" title). So let's honor it with some linkage, shall we?

First up: Here's the national perspective from the Human Rights Campaign, who was on-site at today's presser:

It represents the crucial element that prevents all gay couples, even legally bound ones, from achieving full marriage equality under federal law. The only way for us to remedy that affront to America is to get yourself involved in this fight. Our time is now, my merry 'mos.
