hooperNational Equality March morn'.

After all the conversations, gripes, excitement, nerves, and assorted scuttlebutt, the day is here. The crowd is forming. The signs and megaphones are both blaring messages of hope. Opportunistic vendors have hauled out an impressive assortment of Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue-Purple wares. And as for the weather? Well, it's about as autumnally lovely as any queer pumpkin picker could ever hope to experience.

Many of us will march today in DC. Others of us will be home, planning ways that we can build upon this momentum. We are all crucial to this movement.

I would LOVE to be there. It looks completely amazing.

I missed the last one in 2000. But friends of mine got me a wonderful commemorative keychain. Nine years on, I'm missing it again.
Darn!
