'Green Acres: The Queer Generation'

by Jeremy Hooper

Brent-JoshCongrats to gay couple (and friends of G-A-Y) Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell. The two are getting their own reality series:

Beekman Farm is a funny and irreverent peek into the world of Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, a fish-out-of-water couple who are reviving a farm in upstate NY in order to create a new organic lifestyle brand, 'Beekman 1802'. The series, produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's World of Wonder, uncovers how the couple's city slicker skill-set doesn't mean much when it comes to wrangling pigs and making goat's milk cheese.

The Real Househusbands of Sharon Springs, NY. Fantastic, boys! May your relational fates be less Jon & Kate and more Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar (except with dairy cows rather than kids and progressive views rather than the homo-hostile teachings of Bill Gothard)

Your thoughts

I can't help but wonder how Josh's buddy Shirley is reacting to this news... But seriously, congrats to them both.
