Leifer laffer trades male for 'L'
Out writer Carol Leifer has a new Sapphic sitcom in the planning stages:
The project, tentatively titled "You and Me and He," centers on a recently divorced woman who enters a gay relationship only to find out that she is pregnant with her ex-husband's baby. (In real life, Leifer became a lesbian when she was 40, 10 years after her divorce, and has adopted a son with her partner.)

The project is with the CBS network. Our working title: "How I Met Your Mother (After first testing the Big Bang Theory with your father)"

Gosh, that "Friends" spinoff I've been hoping for finally arrived...ten years later with a different cast, but I'll take it. :)
