Souled out: Scozzafava loses race, wins much insight into Team Morality™

by Jeremy Hooper
"If the type of hatred, and the name calling and the lies and innuendo is the soul of our party, all is not well with thy soul"
-Former NY-23 Candidate Dede Scozzafava, on the hostility that her own party, as well as anti-gay activists like NOM, used against her [Source]

Oh but Dede, didn't you hear: They're the good, moral, loving, "pro-family" team. How dare you question their fitness, based only on the personal agony that they have caused in your life? Don't you know that they are above any and all reproach?

Silly, silly Dede. You just need to hang out with us more. Sure, at first it's a little jarring to be the victim of a team of people who have fully hijacked morality in this country. But after a few soul-robbing affronts to your existence, you start to get somewhat used to it. You'll see.

Your thoughts

I felt so horrible for her, and so glad that Hoffman didn't get away with it.

She was a shoe-in until Palin, freaks and company intervened.

Foot - in - mouth syndrome has now enveloped the "good christians," as they are now dissing moderates. What a wonderful idea for those who identify as 20% of the population.

Then again, Americans are beyond wildly stupid.
