Video: 'Entire nation is ready to celebrate Christmas', says Focus on the Christian-only Family
Christmas Confusion [CitizenLink]
On one hand, it makes us feel less alone to know that FOF's myopia excludes not only LGBT people, but also any American family whose holiday celebrations feature decorations other than/in addition to a Christmas tree. On the other, it makes us even angrier to constantly be reminded just how fully and unapologetically groups like Focus on the Family are trying to rule over everyone's faiths, marriages, wombs, stem cells, and ornaments.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist whose thesis is on the unfeasibility of Santa's sleigh to understand that the next month and a half will be filled with consumers buying all kinds of different holiday gifts. The "war on Christmas" is as much of a plaything as the little plastic army men that lil' Stuart surely played with in an earlier day. And I say this as someone who has both an advent calendar and a menorah on the ready, and a debit card that will be spending WAAAY too much cash to place gifts around both.

Well, it certainly is much more traditional for the lying liars to direct their animus toward each other, and what better time to ratchet up the religious v. religious rhetoric / propaganda than over the holidays. At least some things will never change.

It's amazing that a wanker like Stuart Stoplight gets aroused this time of year, every year. They certainly want to be like the Taliban, one religion and one religion only. His smug, 'I'm so clever' routine is fitting for a milquetoast like him. He makes the Blue Collar Comedy Tour (which my partner loves btw) seem like the Algonquin Round Table.

As a wiccan i was like , "this is the ONE TIME people actually acknowledge us and this idiot burts in making it sound as if christmas is the one and only holiday that happens around this time and everybody else can convert or disappear"
this is why i crawl into my basement this time of year and refuse to come out.

Oy Vey, I can't believe how offended they get when the rest of us get a shout out. We are surrounded by the Christian winter holiday everywhere we go. Even at work we are looked down upon for not saying Merry Christmas and choosing instead to give an inclusive Happy Holidays greeting. It's ridiculous. I think they need to realize that we have the right to a holiday too.

These people are ignorant as hell. The "Christmas Tree" is pagan, so are Easter Eggs. Idiots.
