Video: With studio time comes great responsibility
Look at this picture:
A man (Focus on the Family president Jim Daly). A green screen. A mic. A water bottle and some masking tape. A whole world of possibilities.
Will he seize the opportunity to make a positive change in the world? Will he use his voice to cut through the true societal ills that have ripped society apart? To support all of the stitches within the American fabric? To speak for peace in a world that's growing more divisive by the day?
Or will he use this studio time to support a cold, cruel document that's been co-signed by the head of an SPLC-certified hate group, by a man who has called homosexuality "moral genocide," and by another who's compared concerns over homosexuality with concerns regarding the depletion of the ozone layer?
Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Daly, but you made the wrong choice:
But as a lovely parting gift, let us give you this piece of advice: Historical legacies tend to hold up much better when they support peace rather than pain. Please come back again when you are ready to play on behalf of the greater good. Until then, we will have to oppose you, Jim. Daily.
