Video: Janice called us morality-defying shams. But yea, she's clearly right -- we're the mean ones. Sure.

by Jeremy Hooper

Earlier this week, Janice Shaw Crouse wrote that marriage equality for same-sex couples constitutes "a sham that will devalue all marriages," and said that gay couples "live together to form a household in defiance of the prevailing moral codes to render meaningless an institution that has been the bulwark of the family and society throughout history." And of course last month we all saw Janice at CPAC, suggesting that progressives' goals should be likened to those who created Hilter Youth. Because as a Concerned Woman For America, she must protect the world by ad hominem denunciations of her political opposition, don't ya know?

Well now Janice is doing one good service: She's all but conceding that D.C. marriage equality is here to stay, and that it's likely poised to spread rapidly at this point. But in an egregiously self-unaware yet thoroughly unsurprising turn, she's also doing this discussion a gross disservice in acting like equality proponents are the ones who are attacking their political opponents' characters. Have a look:

Will these "pro-family" people ever take any personal responsibility?

No need to answer that.

*SEE ALSO: We don't think mainstreams news outlets like CBS should be giving platforms to Crouse without noting the overheated things that she has said about us. It's annoying to have this presented as a "two-sided debate," when one side is being so personally vicious towards our lives and loves.

But then again, we really don't have much worry, since Janice totally loses the debate:

Your thoughts

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen.

Vile idiots like her, will rot in the hell of whichever religion she has chosen.

Presently in the EU, the Catholic Church ( Vatican ) including Herr Ratzinger the current pope are about to be drawn through the German Courts due to their child abuse issues.

Unfortunately, they will not rot in hell since there isn't one. They should be tried, tarred and burned at the stake for crimes against the Constitution.

Funny that you ask whether or not they will ever take personal responsibility for their actions. These people are always going on how people have to take care of themselves and need to be responsible for their actions and yet say that our marriages will devalue theirs or that our marriages will cause other people to not marry.

Crouse is such a zero in a debate. "Oh, well, you don't have to site any specific studies, when the overwhelming blah, blah, blah, can you tell that I'm attempting to baffle you with bullshit..." And, "All of the studies have been discredited or debunked, errrr, uhmmmm, except the ones that someone told me support my claims; the ones that even I can't site 'cause I'm full of shit..." Such a total ZERO! These people are so used to preaching to a choir that will never contest their lies, that when they actually are faced with a debate, their vacuous dearth of truth causes their pile of lies to implode on itself.
