I do kind of worry that anti-gays will view this as an actual threat against them. In reality, the only "threat" here is that concerned citizens will engage in a campaign to expose and highlight anti-gay sentiments and especially actions on the part of elected officials.

I think the Founding Fathers called people who do that, "patriots."

I hear your fears. Any kind of fighting imagery is different from what I would choose. It's just not my natural instinct. Except when it comes to concepts (discrimination, Prop 8, bias, etc.) I'm not saying I'm right or that anyone elese is wrong -- we just all have diff styles.

But as long as they keep it campy enough, I think it works. I mean this vid is, to me, pure camp.

And we also have to remember the clear diff. in the two fights. When their side uses boxing gloves (which they are), it reminds us of bullying and harassment which can and does sometimes turn physical. When our side uses it is defense. What the hell do they have to "defend" against? They declared this so-called "culture war," not us.
