Breaking: Arkansas 'family values' types wasted '08 voters' time
Holy crapballs:
LITTLE ROCK — A circuit judge today stuck down Arkansas’ ban against unmarried couples adopting or foster-parenting children.

So it turns out Arkansas' own Mike Huckabee was kind of right, after all: Children are not, in fact, puppies. Which is exactly why fair-minded justice just threw the bone to concept of human compassion and right to privacy rather than to a law that automatically labeled certain homes as no more fit than a doghouse.
