Poll: Equality playing out just fine in middle America, thank you very much

Promising:

Now, a new NewsChannel 8 poll shows that a majority of Iowans support both ideas.

The survey found that 53 percent of those polled said they favor marriage rights for same-sex couples and that 41 percent are opposed.

Of course all polls are imperfect. But still: 53%-41% in Iowa? Even with the margin of error, that has to put the National Organization's own +/- range somewhere between night sweats and towel-tossing.
