Pulling away from Freedom
In Fredericksburg, VA, there exists a road known as Freedom Ct:
But in a fitting parable on life and politics, the path of Freedom eventually meets Industrial Drive. And once Freedom crosses industry, the path immediately changes to Commerce:
Then if one further follows Commerce and leaves the Freedom behind, they soon arrive at this: An ordinary parking spot in between two fittingly commercial interests:
And if one were to go visit this spot as recently as this afternoon, what would one find there? Well, fittingly:
Yup, that's right: The NOM Summer tour van. Because really, let's be honest: What better place for it to reside at than the point where Freedom has been traded for Commerce? if we've learned anything about NOM's donation letters, IRS filings, and salary sheets, this a tradeoff with which Brown, Gallagher, and Co. are all too familiar!
