Get 'em while they're an unintentional hoot: 'Truth Academy' DVDs put the 'ack' in back to school

by Jeremy Hooper

Have nothing to watch this weekend? Well never fret, kiddies: Peter Labarbera is hocking DVD (and CD) copies of his recent "Americans For Truth Academy," that sparsely attended (according to firsthand reports) event in which Pete and an assorted professional anti-LGBT peeps met for the purposes of muddying the waters of reality in order to justify their "but, but, but -- the gays!" mentalities:

Ya know, just in case Date Night is unavailable from NetFlix. Or in case you have a credible medical professional who you want to tie down and torture. Or you're already shopping for your "war on Christmas" stocking stuffers. Pete has your back -- your mind is your own independent concern.

*On a related note: Why does the Illinois Family Institute's Laurie Higgins refuse to be shown (*see the "CD only Note" by her name)? Laurie has no problem dishing it out, proudly and publicly, yet she refuses to let anyone hold her accountable for her words and actions. After years of engagement, this is still the only photo that anyone has of her. Which is her right, sure. It's just a little silly for someone who willingly takes a public "culture war" role.
