Audio: An 'Other' one
Singer/songwriter Heather Mae Ford says of her latest tune:
"I dedicate this song to Seth Walsh, Raymond Chase, Justin Aaberg, Billy Lucas, Asher Brown, Tyler Clementi, and all those in the LGBT community that have ever been affected by cruelty or harassment. You are a human being and you do not deserve that. You are not alone and it gets better."

"Other People"
“He was great,” she told reporters,
“I wish I could have helped in some small way.”
The thing is, she passed him in the hallway
Without a shred of all this sympathy.
The prom king said he was surprised
As if he’d known the guy himself.
Now he champions this latest cause
With friends who put the kid through hell.
Saying: Aren’t other people awful?

Today the student body grieves
The same that spurned and kicked and spit.
And they mourn a candle they’ve snuffed out
But never fought to keep it lit.
They deny they’ve made this martyr,
It was his own blood that he spilled,
And they pretend they loved him all along
To assuage their killer’s guilt.
