Fishing for a compliment[ary civil right]

by Jeremy Hooper
"Make no mistake. Civil union legislation is not a good compromise for protecting marriage. Civil unions are only the bait required to get fair-minded people to take the hook. The big fish is same-sex marriage."

-Focus on the Family's Jenny Tyree

"No mistakes here, Jenny. We're proudly feeding our swimming friend, while staving off Focus on the Family's constant attempts to flush our buoyant character.

But our fish will survive, Jenny. For new tides bring warmer seas, while "protect marriage" echo chambers continue to prove their inability to hold water.

Upstream, we press on. Future's wave we'll anticipate with every breath in our
Gills."
