Oh HI again: Renewed CU bill earning more than islands of support

House approves civil unions bill in 31-19 vote [Honolulu Star-Advertiser]

The measure now heads back to the Senate, where the body's already passed a similar bill. Making the likely assumption that the Senate will "sure, no probs!" the changes, the notion of basic rights and protections will then make it final stop at the desk of Gov. Neil Abercrombie -- a civil unions supporter.

So suck it, "Brady Bunch" tiki necklace. Your civil rights stranglehold seems to be breaking.
