Pres. Bush upping 'Defense' budget

His wife and at least one of his daughters may be on record as marriage equality supporters. But not yet the former president himself, which frees him to headline a mega pricey fundraiser for America's most prominent anti-LGBT legal group, the Alliance Defense Fund:

So the man who is perhaps the single most divisive face in this so-called marriage "culture war" is now going to help raise (swift)boatloads of cash for an organization that's constantly in court (including in the Prop 8 federal trial) for the expressed purpose of stopping equality. Because he does have a Bush legacy to protect, dontcha know?

Oh, those darn decision points. Here's hoping they'll someday point towards progress.
