Minnery said gay SCOTUS a 'non-starter'; So now he'll help GOP find a POTUS, natch

by Jeremy Hooper

6A00D8341C503453Ef0120A6Ac79C8970CDuring Elena Kagan's nomination and confirmation process, Focus on the Family's Tom Minnery put this on the record:

Asked if the new statement meant that being homosexual is a deal-breaker, Minnery replied: “Someone who is a practicing homosexual is a non starter for the group.” Asked if this was the case no matter what the person’s views, he replied: “That’s correct.”

Now Tom is taking that "non-starter" expertise to a more official debating process:

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has put together a Committee on Presidential Debates as it seeks to increase organization within the party.

Tom Minnery, executive director of CitizenLink, is on the committee, which will decide what role the RNC will play in candidate debates leading up to the 2012 primary elections.

All the more reason to let openly gay Republican Fred Karger into these debates!
