Audio: Sandra Lee's semi-homemade ring finger sparks Maggie's concern

by Jeremy Hooper

Of all the tactics Maggie Gallagher tossed out in NY, this oft repeated nugget might've taken the cake in terms of both political pointlessness and personal insolence:

"I wouldn't question his religious convictions, but -- let me now question his religious convictions." Religious convictions that are of course a complete aside to this *CIVIL* marriage conversation.

Though honestly, we very much encourage Maggie to continue using these kinds of tactics, placing an unabashed microscope onto every last American's love and family life. When it comes to our interest in showing fellow citizens why this gay rights battle is actually a human rights battle that concerns all of us, we've no better press agent than she who so boldly encroaches on freedoms, from the personal to the public.
