NY equality foes pray for GOP obstructionism; God wonders why he's point man in *civil* rights debate

by Jeremy Hooper

The New York opposition's plan to stop marriage equality in the next two days:

We leave it in the Lord's hands. We are hearing from people that are fasting and praying for this issue. I need you to make phone calls, send e-mails and visit district offices, but I need you to pray. Cry out to God and ask Him to spare this great state from the redefinition of marriage. If we are successful on this issue, it will have been by God's grace. Hope springs eternal, friends. Hope springs eternal.

And when God sides with equality, you can be sure that they'll cite this as proof that God really does want the gays around. Right? RIGHT?!
