NOM says Mass repeal not off table; table seeks coasters, sick of things that leave rings

by Jeremy Hooper

Screen Shot 2011-07-15 At 3.18.14 PmOne would think that if any of our equality states were safeguarded, the sure bet would be the one that's had legal same-sex marriages now without incident or upheaval, only love. But not so, threatens the National Organization For Marriage's president:

"Even in Massachusetts, voters very nearly succeeded in putting a marriage amendment on the ballot, and may yet have the final say on marriage.

The inevitability of same-sex marriage is a political charade – nothing more
"

-NOM President Brian Brown

Because they will NEVER give up. It doesn't matter how fully our actualities bely their fear-in$tigation. Until we get some concretes (DOMA repeal, SCOTUS win, principled politicos who are heavily in support for unqualified equality, etc.), every last one of us are vulnerable to their games. If not in the practical sense, then at least prone to the very real damages that can stem from this culture of discrimination
