NOM's latest mailer: Historically crude comparisons meant to hijack civil rights movement

by Jeremy Hooper

Oh look: The National Organization For Marriage is returning to its bullying roots, again accusing elected officials of Benedict-Arnold-like treason simply because they voted in a way that NOM dislikes:

201107191330
201107191331
201107191331-1201107191331-2

According to NOM press materials, they have unleashed similar mailers for Republicans Roy McDonald, James Alesi and Stephen Saland, as well as Democratic Senators Shirley Huntley, Joseph Addabbo and Carl Kruger. Because when astroturfing a state with the kind of rhetoirc that makes people hate American politics, one must be thorough.
