Victoria Jackson: From saving Americans from late night boredom to 'saving' gays from 'the lifestyle'

On "SNL", cast members have to quickly change personalities in between commercial breaks, their identities prescribed by a pre-concocted script. As best I can determine, that's the only training Victoria Jackson has for her ongoing push to define homosexuality as some sort of "struggle" that needs to be tossed off as if it's an old Church Lady costume:

"Are homosexuality people born that way, as Lady Gaga sings, or is it a choice?"

"Yes I'm still tempted with sexual temptation, same-sex attraction…We still have an enemy
who wants to throw darts at us.

"It's Jesus plus nothing. Our identity is in Christ. And this is what's happening, you're getting a lot
of people who think it's okay to be gay and okay to be Christian, so they call themselves a gay
Christian. What happens there is, their first identity is in their orientation rather than in
