President returns to HRC dinner-dom; will he 'make news here tonight'?

by Jeremy Hooper

Screen Shot 2011-09-21 At 4.13.41 PmThe President is going to make his second appearance at a Human Rights Campaign national dinner:

Obama to Keynote Human Rights Campaign Dinner on October 1 [Towle]

"Can I get you anything, for Mr. President? A beer? Canapé? The words to finally express your full and unequivocal marriage support? Anything?"

*Headline note: The President has used a "I'm not going to make news here today/tonight" line on a couple of occasions to shoot down hopes that he'll give us his full marriage support. Not sure about you, but I think 10/1/11 sounds like a fab day to make reporters work a little harder!
