NOM EXPOSED: Where there's smoke there's NOM: Org. all kinds of in bed with eye-opening Family Leader

The National Organization For Marriage has aligned itself with the Iowa Family Leader, both to influence an upcoming special race to fill a vacant state Senate seat (18th District) and to co-host a GOP presidential forum over Thanksgiving weekend. So that being the case, I thought I would remind NOM Watchers of the highly egregious misinformation that The Family Leader used to directly push as part of its outreach efforts, and that the org. continues to host, sponsor, and push through its still-active online properties:

*One of the Family Leader's sites, hosted on that same url string: http://web.me.com/thefamilyleader/Capturing_the_Momentum/

*ALSO: In that downloadable facts packet referenced in the video (which The Family Leader has since scrubbed, though I have several local copies if anyone wants one), there was even a document written by NOM's onetime general counsel, Charles Limandri, complete with NOM branding. A document that pushed truly extreme sites like Free Republic and Peter LaBarbera's so-called Americans For Truth about Homosexuality:
