Sportsnet sticks with story: NOM's Damian Goddard let go for 'well documented' reasons

Screen Shot 2011-11-17 At 2.58.52 PmAs Damian Goddard increases his profile with the National Organization For Marriage, the Canadian sports network for which he once freelanced Sportsnet, is continuing to say that Mr. Goddard is aware of the reasons why his contract was terminated. Reasons that presumably go well beyond what Mr. Goddard says in NOM's "anti-defamation" video:

"As we've previously stated, Mr. Goddard is aware of the reasons - which are well documented - why he is no longer with Sportsnet. Out of respect for our employees we do not discuss personnel issues in the press."

If and when Mr. Goddard moves forward with proceedings, these reasons will come out. But for now, all we have are claims that one man is making on behalf of both an agenda and a paycheck.
