Video: And now, playing the role of the 'not judgmental' Tony Perkins...
Here's Tony Perkins, in one of the two roles that a complicit media lets him play: Buttoned-up conservative politico who isn't judgmental:
So easy for Joe, Mike, Mark Halperin, or anyone else to just see this as a common booking. I get it. Most people don't know what I know. Most people don't see what I see. Most people don't hear what I hear. Most people don't have to put the hours of critical thought that I have to put into this, a key civil rights battle of our time.
But I truly believe that hindsight will look back unfavorably on the mainstream media's complacent way of booking people like Tony without informing the public of what they say about us during the other 9/10 of the day. And I won't shut up about this.
*The not judgmental Perkins talking about what he sees as "the most important thing going on in America today: Stopping "the wicked one" from imposing "the evil day" when same-sex marriage allows "men to model their immorality":
If for no other reason, Tony's admitted positioning of same-sex marriage as America's most important issue should make his demonstrated animus pertinent to his punditry. Always.
