Audio: Mat Staver so mad at GLAAD, he can't keep even one fact straight

FACT: The comments in question included one that said "a concentration camp is needed for homosexuals," another that encouraged Adam Lambert's through suicide, and another that said "It would make my day if someone was to do to [Lambert] what those men did to Matthew Shepard."

FACT: GLAAD reached out not because these comments and others were merely oppositional, but rather because they were blatant violations of Yahoo!'s own Terms of Service.

FACT: Yahoo! responded to the situation not by removing only the anti-gay comments, but by shutting down the comments altogether.

But when have facts ever gotten in the way of the Liberty Counsel's aggressive attempt to turn false-witness-bearing into a sport whose in-office popularity is rivaled only by stone-casting? Listen to this:

Ironically, all Mat had to do was use the Yahoo! search function to learn the basic truths. Instead, he'd just given search engines yet another reason to archive LC under keywords like "distrust" and "false" and "must have rooted for Kris Allen instead."
