Maryland House passes marriage bill!
We got the 71 needed votes in the Assembly!! Now on to the (presumably much easier) Senate and then, hopefully, Gov. O'Malley's welcoming desk!!
Of course even upon passage and signage, there's still that pesky threat of a referendum hanging over the joy. But there is no discounting this momentum, whatever the outcome. We are moving one clear and decided way, and no creature, Chris or Christie, will stop that!!
