NOM writes 'CENSORED' on a priest's face; looks unhinged

Brian Brown's new National Organization For Marriage email blast is one of the most histrionic in recent memory, complete with a graphic implication that "brutal" advocates for CIVIL marriage equality are somehow trying to censor priests so that they can't hold man/woman-only religious ceremonies:

Our opponents are hungrier and stronger than they have ever been in their brutal attacks on traditional marriage and we cannot let them redefine us. We will stand up and fight to maintain our traditional beliefs and protect the most sacred institution of them all—one-man one-woman marriage.

Urgent! We Need Your Help! [NOM]

Well of course we're "hungrier" and "stronger," Brian! That's because we don't spend our days eating away basic freedoms, and we don't limit our workouts to futile political football games.

But we're the "brutal attack" agents in this fight? Not gonna agree with that one, buddy. Hell, just your daily attacks on basic realities (e.g. the lie that civil marriage licensing changes a priests' marital abilities even one iota) are brute enough to make the Rhetorical StrawMan Hall of Fame!

*A friend just said to me, "Brian Brown's pleas for cash are sounding more and more like Eugene Delgaudio every day." That's not a good thing. For Brian, I mean. For us, it's amazing!
