Standing up by stepping down: Del. Sam Arora's top adviser puts principle before paycheck, politics
Many LGBT and allied progressives helped Sam Arora get into office. It's good to see that some of Arora's staffers, unlike the Delegate himself, are sticking to the principles they touted among entering office:
A senior adviser to Maryland Del. Sam Arora has abruptly resigned in protest over Arora’s vote against the state’s same-sex marriage bill.
Joshua Lapidus, Arora’s legislative director, quit Friday night just after the marriage vote in a scathing resignation letter obtained by the Blade.
