Stephen Bennett's new lifestyle choice: Coming to a web near you

by Jeremy Hooper

After a long denial, professional "ex-gay" Stephen Bennett is about to come out again -- with a new video series:

201202011121

Controversial? Polarizing? An "issue"? All of this mislabeling is because people like Stephen have built careers around muddying the waters of sexual orientation, actual gay people's actual feelings, and the science surrounding the subjects. There is only a debate because certain people and groups have made the sad, self-selected choice to find LGBT people's normal, natural worth debatable.

And why all the fuss? Well, in an interview with One News Now, Bennett admits why our political opponents love this "change" thing so much:

"We are making rules for gay marriage, for gay adoption, for many other things," he notes, "but if people can change, it really does change the entire game here." [ONN]

And he's right: That is the game for our opponents. It's why they throw their capital at "change" efforts. They want the "ex-gay" thing to be truth because they *NEED* it to be truth! The want to separate the "sinner" and the "sin," because they need to separate their onslaughts from the humans they hurt.

It will of course never work, no matter how many web classes they offer the masses. But that they even try says so much about what's really going on.
