Jim Garlow: GLAAD trying to 'destroy' me

by Jeremy Hooper

"Prop 8 pastor" Jim Garlow is the latest in a long line of defensive social conservatives to claim that highlighting their own words = "silencing." This time with an added claim that GLAAD is out to "destroy":

No, Mr. Garlow: What GLAAD wants to "destroy" is the idea that claims of Satan trying to "destroy the imagery of male and female coming together with light and joy, covenantal marriage on Earth” are fair counterpoints on a subject like civil marriage equality. That's it. No one involved in this project is trying to alter your way of life, views, or ministry in any way. We are simply saying that if/when you find yourself on national television or in print, you should be asked about the more "Devilish" claims that you make when the cameras aren't as bright!
