Listen: Rick Santorum's Sunday night campaign stop

by Jeremy Hooper

Tony Perkins has announced that Rick Santorum will be speaking at his home church this weekend:

*** This Sunday evening, my home church, Baton Rouge's Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, will be hosting a special community service with Sen. Rick Santorum as the guest. He'll be interviewed about his faith, and issues that are of importance to Christian families. If you're interested in watching, the entire event will be webcast, starting at 6:00 p.m. (CT) on Sunday. Click here to stream the feed. [SOURCE: FRC Washington Update]

So when he does, I think it's important for you to know what the GOP presidential candidate will be supporting. All of the following clips come from Greenwell Springs Baptist senior pastor Dennis Terry (who I assume will be interviewing Rick, since it's his usual Sunday evening service; but I have no confirmation of that):

#1: Comparing gays to alcoholics, drug users, liars, and thieves, all of whom are cast out of heaven:

#2: It's "simply a perversion":

#3: "No human being has ever been born gay," says non-science:

#4: Gays can and should "change," professional "ex-gay" advocate Joseph Nicolosi says so:

#5: More equating us with alcoholics, before moving on to a clumsy attempt at a pedophilia link:

#6: Gays are coming after your children and grandchildren:

#7: Sexually transmitted diseases are God's punishment:

Just politics as usual, huh Rick?
