NY special election: Most nakedly hostile, animus-driven, sweeping anti-gay campaign in NOM's history

by Jeremy Hooper

With only four days to go until the March 20 special election in New York, the National Organization For Marriage is ramping up its advocacy on behalf of Republican state Senate candidate David Storobin. This comes from the cover of The Vues, a weekly Jewish publication serving the Brooklyn communities where the election is taking place:

What NOM is still not telling you? That the endorsement of those thirty prominent Rabbis comes in the form of a truly heinous letter that quite literally accuses gays and their supporters of being filthy, degrading, disgusting, and in need of having their "immoral behavior" "destroyed and eliminated" so that society can be saved:

FULL LETTER:There’s now no denying it: NOM wants NY supporters to see gays as disgusting, filthy, degraded [NOM Exposed]

The guy in the pic with Storobin, Rabbi Yisroel Belsky? He signed on to the letter. So did many of the people in the fundraising page running on NOM PAC NY, where whole chunks from the letter form the site's copy!

These are NOM's allies in the quest to elect Storobin over Democrat Lew Fidler! They (in tandem with local Tea Party activist Joseph Hayon, whose most recent Facebook post refers to "Satan getting stronger" in this election) are once again pretending this is all about marriage, when this letter is an insanely aggressive call to eliminate homosexuality itself!!!!!!!!

What is it going to take for people to understand the lengths that this group will go to make people dislike us?!??!
