Openly-elected NYC official sets mid-May 'I do' date

I couldn't think of anything all that unique or newsworthy to say about this and considered not even posting it. But then I realized: That a high-ranking official's same-sex wedding isn't all that unique or newsworthy is really the story here, isn't it?
