NOM takes Dump in international waters

by Jeremy Hooper

20120410155830,000 signatures in three weeks being the abysmal failure that is, the National Organization For Marriage has announced it will expand its ridiculous Dump Starbucks campaign into countries that are less hospitable to gays and therefore more hospitable to the NOM worldview:

NOM Expands Failing Starbucks Boycott to Countries Where Homosexuality is Stigmatized or Criminalized [Towle]

Meanwhile, the Thank You Starbucks campaign (which had 30k signatures less than two days in) is hovering around the 650,000 mark and the Starbucks stock is still quite a bit higher than it was when the NOM boycott began.

Will international waters raise NOM's boats? I predict not.

Will this campaign continue to wreck NOM's reputation here during the worst spring of the org's short history? I say yes.

Let's all toast our Venti cups to that latter point!
