Amendment 1 ralliers brand equality activists as 'pawns in [Satan's] hands'
In multiple campaign videos, the Vote For Marriage NC camp has used the uber-incendiary Ron Baity's recent rally as a backdrop. This makes sense, since the campaign pushed the proudly contentious Baity's rally on its website and that campaign head Tami Fitzgerald is a longtime Baity friend and ally. The undeniable truth is that it's 100% impossible to disassociate Baity and his Return America organization from the official campaign.
So what does this same Return America think about us and our cause? Well, look what the organization writes about us on a page celebrating this very same rally that Vote For Marriage NC itself promoted:
The battle for Biblical marriage is a battle of spiritual warfare. Since Satan entered the Garden, he has specialized in camouflage. He lied about God's Word in the Garden and his strategy of perverting the Truth continues without pause. Tragically, the pawns in his hands are misinformed people.

Wish I could say this was atypical from what I've been seeing and hearing come out of North Carolina for months now. But it's sadly not. Scarily not.
