Pastor to Senior Citizen: 'Suppose [#Amendment1] was going to strip you of health care—big deal!'

by Jeremy Hooper

I've backed the clip up a bit so you can get a sense of how this Amendment One supporter, Pastor Larry Phillips, sees his LGBT neighbors. But what I really want you to hear is his complete disregard (beginning around 2:43) for the very real possibility that the marriage amendment could strip some senior citizens of healthcare

Oh yeah: Also stick around for a claim (around 4:20) that equality supporters "are the crowd that would have supported the killing of Jews in Germany":

I can't decide if I feel sorry for fair-minded North Carolinians for having to see so much of this come out of their state, or if I'm thrilled at the possibility of the nonstop extremism that has accompanied this campaign awakening a previously complacent band of in-state allies. It's a mix of both, I guess.
