Log Cabin Republicans remind Wendy Long of the growing liability that is NOM

Via emailed press release:

LOG CABIN REPUBLICANS OF NEW YORK ON NOM ENDORSEMENT OF WENDY LONG

ALBANY, NEW YORK— In response to today’s endorsement by the National Organization for Marriage of United States Senate candidate Wendy Long, Log Cabin Republicans of New York State Chairman Gregory T. Angelo made the following statement:

“NOM’s endorsement of Wendy Long is going to make a major difference in her campaign—for the worse. With 60% of New Yorkers in support of marriages for committed same-sex couples, the fact is this is not an issue to run on for any candidate serious about winning statewide office. It’s telling that this endorsement was announced only hours before Primaries in New York begin, but Log Cabin Republicans isn’t going to let this one slip under the radar.”
