Amazon founder kindles pro-equality fires

by Jeremy Hooper

Add online shopping to the National Organization For Marriage's growing list of no-nos:

Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon.com, and his wife, MacKenzie, have agreed to donate $2.5 million to help pass a same-sex marriage referendum in Washington State, instantly becoming among the largest financial backers of gay marriage rights in the country.

Which reminds me, Amazon just placed the (newly edited, second edition) paperback version of my book on sale for a nice $9.35 (Kindle is at $9.50). I'm certainly happy to be working with a company that respects my marriage. Wonder if Maggie Gallagher will keep her book on the site?
