Why does the AP continue to allow the AFA's shenanigans?

I quit trying to make them care long ago, since several frustrating conversations with Associated Press personalities accomplished nothing. But I don't know—if I ran a prominent news wire, I'd probably care if an anti-gay outlet like the American Family Association's One News Now was changing my logoed and bylined stories so that gay is changed to homosexual and "marriage" is placed in smear quotes:
