Maggie's borderline libelous sleight of hand

Okay, so I'm not even going to weigh the Klan comparison. That's not the way I personally engage, it's not my charge to answer.

But check out what Maggie does there in the line I've highlighted. She takes a comparison about a group and (no matter what you think about it) misapplies it in a way that DIRECTLY compares Tony Perkins to a mass murderer. NO ONE HAS SAID ANYTHING OF THE SORT! NOT EVEN CLOSE! And if anyone with any kind of platform did make that kind of comparison, EVERY SINGLE PRO_EQUALITY OUTLET would condemn it immediately. For Maggie to make this insane leap is truly beyond the pale!
