NOM's key voice vs. 'acting on' gay 'inclinations'

by Jeremy Hooper

On the same day that we all read Carlos Maza's astounding firsthand account of what really goes on at a National Organization For Marriage Ruth Institute conference, the head of the organization, Jennifer Roback Morse, posted the following to her Facebook wall (the "Ravi" mentioned is Ravi Zacharias, whose video about not accepting homosexuality Morse has just posted to her wall):

This is of course completely in line with what Morse, a key NOM voice, has said in the past. She has made it perfectly 201208211622clear that she "doesn't accept the category of gayness," and has verbalized her belief that homosexuality is "intrinsically disordered behavior," advising gays to be celibate instead

In his piece, Carlos Maza concluded that "for NOM, there really isn't much distance between being "anti-gay marriage" and being "anti-gay" - the latter motivates the former." No one who speaks for NOM is making that any cleared that one Jennifer Roback Morse.
