Tony 'gays are operating outside of nature' Perkins shapes this year's GOP platform

I couldn't believe what I was reading. I was out walking the dog last night when I decided to do a quick Twitter check. There, as I picked up Bosley's doo, I saw the load of crap: Tony Perkins, incendiary voice against gays everywhere, actually WROTE the marriage language that will muddy up yet another GOP platform. I seriously thought it was fake.

But then I remembered that my friend Chris Geidner is an awesome reporter with solid facts and that my ol' disco partner Tony Perkins is still a trusted thought leader within one of America's viable political parties. So yes, it was certainly true. Yes, the man who recently fundraised around the idea that gay kids are immoral is seriously snagging jobs like this within the Republican party.
