VA-based Liberty Counsel continues to futz with NY equality
They already lost in a unanimous New York appellate court ruling, but leave it to the rabidly anti-LGBT Liberty Counsel to continue its cynical attempts to overturn marriage equality in the Empire State. This time, the far-right outfit is appealing to the state's highest court:
If Liberty Counsel wins the case, it would likely mean New York's homosexual marriage law would be overturned -- which [Mat] Staver believes would send a clear message to lawmakers.

Or much more likely, Mat, your organization will face yet another embarrassing loss, one that will both turn away donors who realize that Liberty Counsel's bark is infinitely louder than its bite as well as show greater swaths of the public that equality is here to stay. So that being the likelihood—Godspeed, Mat Staver and your Pyrrhic appeal!
