Wow, an AFA writer actually corrects Thomas Peters' 'Democrat Party' mislabeling

by Jeremy Hooper

This snip (and editorial [sic]) comes from the American Family Association's One New Now site, with the National Organization For Marriage's Thomas Peters being the quote provider:

"Culture war" watchers know that the far-right loves to carelessly (some would say childishly) misuse the "Democrat Party" phrasing rather than the accurate "Democratic Party" label. I've never seen a fellow far-right outlet correct the misuse. That's actually progress!

Then again, it is the AFA. Perhaps the [sic] is not because Thomas left off the "ic," but rather because he didn't use a more derisive label.
