'40 Days to Save America' from LGBT people's fair and decent treatment
Starting tomorrow, a group of evangelicals will launch something called "40 Days to Save America." Check out the anti-LGBT crew that's heading up the effort:
You have E.W. Jackson, who is busy riling up folks with the message that the Democrats are godless. You have Janet Porter, whose extreme quote bank leaves her off the invite list on even far-right efforts. You have Jim Garlow, who has likened marriage equality's effects on children with the effects posed by 9/11. You have Harry Jackson, who has called marriage equality a “a satanic plot to destroy our seed" and equated the current fight with the times of Hitler. You have Rock Scarborough, who says AIDS is God's judgment. And you of course have Tony Perkins, the one person on the list who says just as nasty things as the others but who still manages to maintain cable news bookings. Etc., etc.
This is your "save America" team, nation. God save us.
